727ci 918 without the hybrid junk, anyone?

Nope. If it can do a sub-7-minute 'Ring time, it's fine the way it is.

Top Gear lap times or bust.

Same sentiment applies. It's plainly a crazily fast car with its instant-torque and extremely quick-reacting AWD that's provided by partial electric power.

It just isn't crazily fast and practical enough - 94 MPG for only 16 miles? Fuck that shit. Give me a Kawasaki ZX-14R.

94mpg at all in a 200mph+ supercar is extremely impressive. Also, I think it's actually all electric (so mpg) for ~16 miles, then the engine comes in to be a range-extender and then that figure becomes relevant (UK mpg, I think in US gallons it's 78mpg).
I know bikes are waaaay more economical, but I prefer cars :-P

And that's my problem. Porsche says it can do 90+ MPG, but remembering the same stunt Chevrolet pulled, I see it may do the same economy run as a CB919F.
